You’re going to ask anyway.
So we answered everything.
Pricing
We're a specialty studio, custom product frontends, AI integrations, and high-end business sites. Most projects run $30,000 to $50,000+. A focused custom site starts at $15,000; a custom product or app frontend (a real platform like BookNox) runs $30,000 and up. Every build is custom coded, owned outright, and shipped fast, there's no template tier, because we don't build templates. Monthly hosting and care: $29/month flat, every site, up to 50GB bandwidth included. Fast, secure, monitored, accessible. Zero platform fees. Zero plugins. It's the only ongoing cost, no per-sale fees, nothing else to pay. Overage billed at $5/GB, invoiced monthly, site never throttled or taken offline. Changes billed at $150/hour with a 1-hour minimum. Same technology as Nike, Netflix, and Spotify. Zero transaction fees. Zero maintenance. You own every line of code.
Everything. We build you a custom coded site from scratch and hand it over outright, every line of code, every file, every asset is yours, for good. There's nothing to rent and no platform sitting between you and your work. If you sell online, payments run on your own account: you keep 100% of your revenue, minus standard card processing, with no per-sale cut to anyone. And if you ever move on, you take all of it with you. You're paying once for an asset you own, not a subscription you keep feeding.
Most of our projects run $30,000 to $50,000+. A focused custom site, fully coded, owned outright, built to load in under a second, starts around $15,000. A custom product or app frontend (a real platform like BookNox, with payments, dashboards, and interactive tools) runs $30,000 and up. We quote every project to what it actually is. There's no template tier, because we don't build templates. You'll see exactly what you're getting before you pay anything.
You're not paying for a template with your logo dropped in. You're paying for a site custom coded from scratch and owned outright, every line, yours forever. Built to load in under a second, hardened against attacks, and ADA-compliant with accessibility checks gating every deploy. And when you need it: payments, AI, and interactive tools wired in, the kind of work that normally takes a development team months. It's the same system we built into BookNox, a full booking platform that runs quote → contract → payment → calendar on its own. That's not a website. That's software you own.
A template breaks, gets you nowhere on speed or security, and never really belongs to you. A freelancer disappears. We build you a custom coded asset you own outright, that loads in under a second, isn't tied to anyone's platform, and can carry real software, payments, AI, tools, when you're ready. You pay once for something that keeps working, instead of paying for it forever.
No. We take a limited number of builds at a time. It's how the work stays custom and fast instead of mass-produced. If your project's a fit, we'll say so. If it's not the right fit for us, we'll tell you honestly and point you somewhere better.
Managed hosting and care, a flat $29 per month starting on launch day, the same rate for every site, with up to 50GB of monthly bandwidth included. It keeps your site fast, secure, monitored, and accessible: hosting, email, security, and uptime monitoring, all handled. It's the only ongoing cost, no per-sale fees, no surprise invoices. Changes are billed at $150 per hour.
No, every site we build runs on our managed hosting at a flat $29/month, and we handle hosting, email, security, and uptime for you. If you sell online, the one account you own yourself is your Stripe payment account: your customers' money goes straight to your bank, and you pay Stripe's standard card-processing fees directly to Stripe, not to us.
Your site never slows down or goes offline for bandwidth. If you exceed the 50GB monthly allowance, we invoice the overage at $5 per additional gigabyte, due within 14 days. We will email you at 80% of your allowance so you know it is coming.
Only for non-payment. If a hosting invoice is more than 30 days past due, we send a 14-day written notice. If the payment is not received within that window, the site is suspended until payment clears. That is the only condition under which a site goes offline, never for bandwidth, never for disagreements, never without written notice.
Yes, with 30 days written notice. A one-time $250 transfer fee applies. We deliver a password-protected USB drive with your source code and printed instructions for installing Node.js and transferring your domain. We do not migrate your site to a new host, you handle that yourself. After transfer, you are fully independent.
We send a secure payment link by email and you pay by card. Payments are milestone-based: a deposit when you sign the contract, a payment when you approve the preview, and the balance before launch. Receipts come automatically.
Yes. Projects are milestone-based, a deposit to start, a payment when you approve the preview, and the balance before launch. Larger builds split into more milestones. Ask during your intake.
If you cancel before any work has started, you get your deposit back minus a $250 administrative fee. Once work begins, deposits and milestone payments are non-refundable because we have already allocated the time. Full cancellation terms are detailed in your contract. Either way, you keep any source code we have delivered.
AI Features and Integrations
Yes, we build custom product sites on our own stack: landing page, dashboard, checkout, the works, as a fresh build you own (we don’t bolt onto an existing site). BookNox is the proof. We built its full quote → contract → payment → calendar flow end to end. It’s not an AI product itself, but it shows we can build something that involved. Tell us what your product does in the get-started form. See /work.
Yes, built into the new custom site we make you. We don’t add to an existing site; it’s a fresh build on our stack that you own. Chat trained on your business, automated intake that pre-fills forms from a plain-English description, and auto-publishing content, all running on this very site, so you can watch them work before you buy. Scope it with us in the get-started form.
Through Stripe, on your own account, one-time purchases or subscriptions, money straight to your bank, never through us. That’s exactly how payments work in BookNox.
About Our Websites
It means we write the code from scratch for your business. We do not use themes, templates, or drag-and-drop builders. Every line of code is written for your specific needs. This is why our sites load in under a second and never need maintenance. There are no bloated plugins or database lookups slowing things down. BookNox, a full booking platform with a live pricing configurator, embedded payments, and e-signature contracts, is one we built exactly this way, from scratch. See it at /work.
Because custom coded is simply better for what you're building. We write the code from scratch for your business, no themes, no plugins, no database to slow it down or expose it. That's why our sites load in under a second, never need a maintenance contract, and are far harder to attack. It's also the only way to build the things a platform can't: a real product frontend, payments, e-signatures, AI, interactive tools. BookNox is one we built exactly that way, from scratch. See it at /work.
We build with the same technology stack that powers Nike, Netflix, Uber, Apple, and Spotify. These companies chose this stack because it is fast, secure, and scales infinitely. We build your site on the same foundation as the world’s biggest brands, and the AI features we ship, from chat assistants to content pipelines, run on that same modern stack.
Because we use a system. We refined our process building real products like BookNox, created tools that automate the repetitive parts, and use modern frameworks that skip the slow parts of old-school web development. Your site is custom, but our process is efficient.
How Google Actually Works
Your site will be findable and indexable by Google within 1-4 weeks of launch. Whether it ranks high in search results is a different question, that depends on your content, competition, how long you have been online, and backlinks from other sites. No website designer can guarantee Google rankings. Anyone who promises you first-page results is not being honest.
For a brand new business: usually 3-6 months before you start appearing in local searches (your industry plus your city). 6-12 months to rank for broader terms. Year 2+ for established authority. This is why most small businesses that want faster traffic also run ads.
No. Nobody can. What we can guarantee: your site is built with proper tags, sitemaps, structured data, and clean code so Google can find and index it properly. The rest depends on your ongoing content and competition. Read our full explanation at /how-google-works.
Run ads (fastest, we can add tracking for $750-$1,200), publish a blog regularly (we can build the blog for $500), claim your Google Business Profile (free, takes 10 minutes), ask happy customers for Google reviews, and stay consistent over time.
We build your site to be indexable by search engines. We do not offer ongoing consulting or content creation as a service. That is a different industry. We can refer you to specialists if you need them.
Security and Hacking
Nothing is 100% unhackable. But the common ways websites get hacked, WordPress plugin vulnerabilities, weak passwords, outdated software, database injections, none of those apply to our sites. We have no plugins to exploit, no database to inject, no admin login that spammers can brute-force. The same architecture runs BookNox, handling real payments and tamper-evident signed contracts, so it is built to carry sensitive workflows, not just brochure pages.
The framework we use has security updates. The hosting platform patches them automatically. Your site benefits from these updates without you doing anything, you never have to babysit an update or fix what it broke.
Every form submission goes through rate limiting, input validation, and security checks on any uploads. We strip metadata from photos. We block suspicious traffic. We log every submission securely. It is significantly more secure than most sites.
Your site is served through a global edge network, the same infrastructure used by major brands. DDoS protection is built in. Your site stays online even under attack.
Accessibility and ADA Compliance
Every site we build follows WCAG 2.1 AA standards, the industry benchmark for accessibility. We build with proper semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, screen reader support, color contrast that meets ratio requirements, alt text on all images, and visible focus indicators. This matters because the Americans with Disabilities Act applies to websites, and inaccessible sites face lawsuits.
Two reasons. Legal: ADA lawsuits against small businesses are common, settlements typically run $5,000 to $25,000, and total costs with legal fees and remediation can exceed $50,000. Financial: more than 1 in 4 American adults (28.7%, per the CDC) have a disability. If your site excludes them, you exclude over a quarter of your customer base. Building accessibly means more customers and far less lawsuit risk.
Automated checks run before every deploy: screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation, color contrast ratios, alt text, focus indicators, ARIA labels, and more. If any page fails WCAG 2.1 AA standards, the deploy is blocked until we fix it. Every client site gets this.
If you upload new photos after launch: add alt text describing the image. If you write blog posts: use proper headings (H1, H2, H3) not just bold text. If you add videos: include captions. We handle the technical foundation. You keep it accessible when adding content.
Ownership and Leaving
Yes. You own the code, the content, the domain, and everything about your site. If you decide to leave us, you take it all with you. No lock-in. No hostage-taking. No recurring fees to "keep" your site.
Cancel hosting with 30 days notice and we transfer your domain and source code to you for a one-time $250 fee, everything you need to continue with any developer. If your site takes payments, your Stripe account is already yours and is unaffected by the transfer. Either way, the code is yours.
Within 14 business days of your cancellation notice. We prepare a clean package of your source code, content, and setup documentation. You get everything you need to continue independently.
Yes. You own the code. You can hire any developer to modify it. Most clients come back because we know the site inside and out, but you are never required to. Small changes through us are $150 per hour with a 1-hour minimum.
Your site keeps running. We use industry-standard infrastructure that continues to operate independently of us. If we vanish tomorrow, your site stays live. You would need to manage the hosting account yourself, but the site itself is unaffected.
Online Stores and Payments
Yes. We integrate secure credit card payments directly into your site. Customers pay by card, money goes straight to your bank account. You get automated receipts, a dashboard to track orders, and inventory management.
We wire Stripe into your own account, including Stripe Connect for marketplace and embedded payments. Money goes straight to your bank; we are never in the money path. Your customers just see "Secure Checkout" and "Pay Now," branded for your business, not platform names. BookNox runs exactly this setup live: card, ACH, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, with no per-sale platform fee on top of standard card processing.
For e-commerce sites, yes. You will create a payment processor account (free) and a bank account for payouts (free). We guide you through setup and configure everything in your dashboards. You own all the accounts, we just build the connection.
Typically 2-5 business days after a customer pays. The payment processor handles fraud screening, then transfers funds to your bank automatically.
You receive tax documents directly from the payment processor. You are responsible for sales tax, income tax, and any other tax obligations. We do not provide tax advice, consult an accountant.
Privacy, Legal, and Compliance
Yes. If your site collects any data (names, emails, even just visit tracking), US state laws require a privacy policy. California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and 15+ other states have consumer privacy laws. Your site automatically includes a privacy policy written for your business and built to address US state privacy-law disclosure requirements.
Yes for anything beyond a basic info site. We include a terms page with copyright notices, acceptable use, liability limitations, and governing law. If you accept payments or collect user data, terms are essentially required.
DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) sets out the takedown procedure you follow when someone copies your content, and the counter notification procedure they follow if they disagree. Every site includes a DMCA page carrying both. Registering a work with the US Copyright Office costs $65 and is what makes statutory damages available at all. That range reaches $150,000 per work only where a court finds the infringement willful, and only where the registration was timely, so what any particular case is worth depends on the work and on when it was registered. We make no promise here about damages, and none of this is legal advice.
HIPAA (medical privacy) requires specialized infrastructure and is not included in standard sites. For card payments, we wire in Stripe so card data is processed by Stripe and never touches your site, which keeps your PCI scope to the simplest level, but we build to support compliance, we don’t certify or guarantee it. If you have specific HIPAA, PCI, or other compliance requirements, tell us and we’ll build to support them; final compliance is your responsibility, and we recommend confirming it with a qualified specialist.
Working With Us
Basic business information (name, hours, contact), content (about text, services list, any photos you have), your brand (logo if you have one, or we will create a simple text mark), and your preferences (colors, style references, websites you like).
Design, development, hosting setup, email configuration, any integrations (payments, booking, ad tracking), search engine setup, testing on all devices, accessibility compliance, legal pages, security, and launch. You provide the content, we build everything else.
Hosting, email delivery, security patches, and uptime monitoring are all included in your monthly hosting rate, starting on launch day. We handle the technical upkeep automatically. You focus on your business, we keep the site running.
Email us. Small changes (typos, swapping a photo, updating hours) are often free or billed at $150/hour with a 1-hour minimum. Larger changes (new pages, new features) get a quote. Major redesigns are treated as a new project.
Yes. We send a password-protected preview URL where you can review everything. You have 24 hours of preview access (the site is watermarked). You approve or request changes. Up to the revision count in your contract (3 rounds).
Timeline and Process
Because we use a system: tools that automate setup, a process refined building real products like BookNox, and no billing by the hour (which incentivizes slow work). Small business sites can ship in 3-7 days; complex sites with e-commerce in 10-14 days, depending on how fast you get us content and approvals.
A simple business site can go from signed contract to live site in 3 business days if you have all your content ready. Most take 5-7 days because content gathering takes time.
Delayed responses from you are the #1 cause. If you take 5 days to review a preview, that is 5 days the project sits waiting. Our contract includes response requirements (typically 5 business days per review round) to keep projects on track.
Questions We Won't Answer With "Maybe"
We cannot predict your business results. A good website does not guarantee sales, your business, marketing, and customer service do. What we can predict: a fast, secure, professional site that does not embarrass you and does not break.
It will give you a professional, fast, accessible place to send customers and a credible presence for people searching your business name. Whether total customer count goes up depends on your overall business strategy, not just the website.
No. Nobody can guarantee that. We can make it shareable on social media, fast to load so people do not bounce, and accessible so everyone can use it. Viral is marketing, content, and luck.
Platforms and Migration
We specialize in fresh builds, it’s how we deliver in days. If you need to migrate existing customers or data, contact us to discuss scope and pricing. For most creators, starting fresh with a new site and redirecting your audience is faster and cleaner than migrating. And “fresh build” does not mean basic, BookNox is a full platform we built from scratch (instant quotes, payments, signed contracts, calendar automation). Whatever your current platform does, we can rebuild it as something you own. See /work.
Yes. We integrate a payment system directly into your site. Sell courses, ebooks, templates, subscriptions, memberships, whatever you offer. You own the payment account, keep your customer data, and pay standard card processing fees instead of platform percentages.
Technical
Yes, we build your site fresh on our own stack and wire in established third-party services deeply. In BookNox we tied Stripe payments and Google Calendar together so a paid checkout auto-books the date and sends the invites, quote to signed to paid to calendar, all wired. We build new, self-contained products you own outright; we don’t bolt a frontend onto a pre-existing backend or legacy system. See /work.
Yes, this is one of our favorite things to build. Live pricing configurators, quote builders, cost calculators, quizzes: your visitor picks options and watches the number update in real time, with an itemized breakdown. BookNox’s instant-quote pages are a working example you can try right now, pick a package and add-ons and watch the price and deposit recalculate. See /work.
Yes, we build the full technical workflow: a signature canvas, a server-side PDF of the signed document, tamper-evident hashing, tokenized access links, automatic counter-signing, and a complete audit trail (IP, device, timestamps), built to the ESIGN and UETA e-signature standards. It runs live in BookNox today. One important note: we build the signing technology, not the legal content. ESIGN/UETA make the signature valid, they don’t guarantee any particular contract is enforceable. NetNest Design LLC is not a law firm and doesn’t give legal advice; you’re responsible for the wording of your contracts, and we recommend a licensed attorney review them. See /work.
No. We build websites and web applications that work perfectly on mobile browsers. If you need a native iOS or Android app, that’s a different specialty.
